I didn’t hear about this til I saw your post. Lonesome Dove is one of my favorite books and I’ve seen the movie many times. I guess that’s the only book of his I’ve read. Seen some of the other movies. He was a great writer.

I've read maybe half of Larry's books. And look forward to getting around to the other half. Next, they'll tell us Cormac McCarthy is dead.
